Nicholas Burch

Nich founded Burch&Co in 2016 with a vision to create a law firm that puts people first. Driven by the belief that engaging with the law can be an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for clients and lawyers alike, Nich approaches his role with passion, purpose and care. He also loves a challenge, whether it's hiking to Everest Base Camp, trying to grow vegetables and keep bees in an inner-Melbourne backyard, or designing useful legal strategies for clients. He also hopes that you're having a great day so far.

What Matt loves about his job as a litigator is that no two cases are the same. He takes a concise and commercial approach to dispute resolution and takes pride in being a decisive yet supportive legal counsel for his clients. Melbourne-born but Sydney-based, Matt continues to support Carlton from the sunny eastern beaches, negroni in hand and Shadow (his black labrador) by his side.

With a background in commercial litigation, Sean brings a strategic and client-first approach to everything he does and takes pride in helping his clients achieve great outcomes. Sean is just as happy solving complex legal problems as he is rewatching the 2018 AFL grand final, which he does every couple of months.

Hana leads Burch&Co’s Startup & Capital team and brings her detailed understanding of the startup ecosystem to the work of helping clients structure, grow, and scale. A self-identified US Army brat and third culture kid, Hana is also a certified privacy expert (CIPP/E) and passionate about managing data and privacy risks within commercial realities. When she isn’t reading terms and conditions for fun, she can be found eating tacos or planning her next international getaway.

Hana leads Burch&Co’s Startup & Capital team and brings her detailed understanding of the startup ecosystem to the work of helping clients structure, grow, and scale. Giulia, better known as Giuls, is a true empath with a knack for building genuine and meaningful relationships with clients. Giuls prides herself on giving considered and strategic advice to achieve the timely resolution of legal disputes. When she isn’t litigating, you’ll most likely find Giuls being the ultimate “faunt” (fun aunt) to her niece and nephews.
