YOU:
You’re a confident, reliable and principled lawyer looking for a new opportunity in the legal industry. You have 1-3 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
You believe that dealing with the law can be a positive, logical and productive experience. You’ve developed strong legal expertise through your experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution in a firm environment and have a willingness and enthusiasm to build on these foundational skills.

THE ROLE:
As a member of the dedicated Dispute Resolution & Litigation team within our firm, you’ll play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality legal services.
You’ll be the key driver in client matters assigned to you, responsible for ensuring tasks are provided to schedule, objectives are met, and the expectations of our clients are exceeded. You will report to the Senior Associate of the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. You’ll be responsible for helping drive the productivity of our team.
You’ll be a central figure for our clients, building trusted relationships. You will uphold our proactive, positive approach. You will be supported in your role by a graduate lawyer. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility and ownership of matters along with supporting your Senior Associate on larger, more complex litigation in superior courts.
Specifically, your role will include:
- Drafting client and stakeholder communications for assigned matters
- Taking and clarifying client instructions
- Preparing draft pleadings, memoranda to counsel and other court documents
- Supporting your Senior Associate with input to strategic direction
- Briefing and updating counsel, stakeholders and clients
- Overseeing the development and inclusion of our graduate lawyers
- Helping shape and drive the culture of our team
